Are you marking yourself down?
This short paragraph recently appeared in my inbox via a dear friend:

"Sometimes we don't realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself -- if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me," she says. "I love myself enough to walk away from that now."

LOL! My price tag? Well, you would have to ask the salesclerk at either Prada or Valentino (my favorite designers) LOL!
ReplyDeleteOk, seriously now. What a nice post, Kelly. You're absolutely right. What is it about women and losing their self-worth whether they're married or not? To me, it's as unfathomable as Stonehenge!
Hahaha, Claudia! Thank you for your comment...and for the record, the only difference is that at least Stonehenge is awesome beautiful whereas compromising your self-worth is not :-))
